God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

*Reinhold Niebuhr*

There is so much I would love to tell you about my hopes, goals, achievements and aspirations, but I feel it is vital that you all know
who Sade Ranjit really is. I am 16 years old and a young, humble, tenacious vibrant lass from little town on our map called Howick.
I am hardworking and ambitious which allowed me to achieve many goals in life. I stand up for what I believe, which enables me to know
right from wrong.

I stem from a God-fearing, cultured and spiritual family, whose morals and standards have moulded me into the young lady I am today. With the continuous love and support from my family, it has taught me that it is better to try and fail than fail to try.

On 23 October 2003 marked a drastic change in my life. At the age of 5 I was diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic. This was the beginning of a life changing experience. I had to adopt a new lifestyle. Being a Diabetic moulded me to be strong, confident and fearless of the unknown. This reminds me to not to fear because today is the tomorrow you feared about yesterday.

I was crowned Miss Pmb in 2012. This was the start of my passion being fulfilled.

So, I, Sade Ranjit say to myself, it is not only about how I starts this race but more importantly how I finish.
